Although the number of Music units studied is unrestricted, no more than 40 credits (4 units) can contribute to first 60 credits for aggregate/ATAR . (The SACE board pairs units for best total aggregate/ATAR)

Course Outline:
Students develop their aural acuity and acquire fundamental, functional musical knowledge, and associated aural, theoretical, and notational skills. They learn theory, aural recognition, and musical techniques in a range of contexts through a variety of learning activities.

Students learn about the relationship between theoretical notation and sound by using notation, and aural and visual recognition.
