Course Outline:
Students develop the ability to initiate, crate and develop products or systems in response to a design brief. They learn to use tools, materials and systems safely and competently to complete a product.
Students analyse the impacts of technology, including consequences for individuals, society and the environment. They use a range of manufacturing technologies such as tools, machines, equipment, and/or systems to design and make products with resistant materials.
Topics Included:
Students will develop the necessary skills to build a product through a manufacturing process, from production of 3D model using CAD software through to production using CAM processes.

Skills and application tasks 20%

Additional Costs:
Large complex pieces or expensive materials may incur a cost and will be negotiated with parents. Costs for excursions and workshops, that include fees and transport.
