Course Outline:
SACE Music Experience subject. This subject is designed for students with emerging musical skills providing opportunities to develop understanding and skills in creating and responding to music through the use of technology. They explore and develop their practical skills through digital manipulation, arranging and composing works. They identify and analyse musical elements, structure, and stylistic features of the music of others. Students reflect on their understanding and develop the ability to appraise and refine their creative works in response to their musical understanding, skills, and techniques.
Topics: Sound reinforcement, Loops and Waves, Recording and Sound manipulation, MIDI sequencing, audio effects and processes.
